Free family fun at the St Peter’s Summer Fair

-

A superb free celebration of family fun will take place at the St Peter’s Church of Ireland Family Fun Day and Summer Fair, which runs from 12-4pm on Saturday July 14.

Parents will be able to take a trip back in time with their children thanks to an array of family fun games.

“We really wanted to do something different that families can enjoy as a whole,” said Rev Iain Jameson.

“We think that children (and their parents) will really enjoy the opportunity of taking part in the sort of games that have endured through generations.

“There will also be jugglers and hula hooping from the Fabulous Holly (right) and friends as well as music, face painting and a coconut shy.

“We will also have all the attractions that people love from our annual church fair, such as the cakes, plants, books and bric-a-brac stalls.”

There will be a tea room alongside a barbecue, with all the ingredients present for a wonderful day.

St Peter’s Church of Ireland is situated at the top of Peter Street in Drogheda and admission is free to the event.
