Dunleer take bronze

THERE was great news for Dunleer AC from the National juvenile track and field Championships in Tullamore on Sunday.

The boys finished third in the 500m under 10.

Conor Brennan ran the second fastest time of the day in 1.32, and along with Declan Mc Entee’s combined 1.40 they secured a bronze medal.

They were second in Leinster and now third in National competition in what has been a great season for the boys who train hard and enjoy their sport.
