Pay Parking suspension not our fault!

At the recent heated meeting of Town Councillors with Louth Co Co management, the CE, Joan Martin remarked along the lines of “Drogheda people have got free parking” in recent months.

Let me point out to Ms Martin that neither the Drogheda Community or its local Councillors are responsible for the current parking debacle. The mess (and serious revenue loss) arose from an administrative error.

It is shameful and unacceptable that Ms Martin refuses to publicly reveal legal advice she has secured on this matter and will not initiate a full public enquiry into the loss of over €300,000 in revenue.
