THE one thing Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann will bring to Drogheda from Sunday August 12 to August 19th is variety.
From the afternoon on the first day - President Michael D Higgins will launch the week at 2.30pm at the Gig Rig in Bolton Square - there will be enough events to keep all ages happy, morning, noon and night.
Concerts and events will be basically non stop, morning concerts, lunchtime classics, afternoon shows and then as many sessions at night as you desire.
Over the coming weeks, the Drogheda Independent will feature just some of the many events planned.
