Collins leads way for DTC
THIS is turning out to be by far the busiest year for Drogheda Triathlon Club (DTC) who are flying the flag for the event in the North East.
Many of their 100 members have been competing in national events, in the UK and on the continent, notably Brian Collins who recently returned from Germany after successfully completing the Challenge Roth Ironman in a fantastic time against some of the major professional triathletes from around the world.
The club have been very active already this sumner, competing in numerous triathlon events and many individual running, cycling and swimming competitions either as individuals or in team events.
And following on from the success of organising the Aura Boyne Swim, they now turn their attention to the 11th Clogherhead Lennon Alarms Round the Head Swim this Saturday.
