SUPPORT BOOMERANG & WIN A HOLIDAY!

-

DROGHEDA Youth Development has matured to 25 years of age and to celebrate, is offering people the chance to win some amazing prizes, including the holiday of a lifetime.

Through the generosity of the people of Drogheda, the service has grown and developed and now provides a range of Recreational, Educational and Specialist Supports under one roof, including five years of youth service delivery in Boomerang Youth Centre Fair Street, Drogheda.

This is a raffle not to be missed,” says Catrina Culligan, Boomerang Youth Service (right).

“The prizes are fantastic, and some lucky winner will walk away with the holiday of a lifetime for a mere €5.00 raffle ticket, and as the old saying goes, “If you are not in you can’t win”!

Full prize details are 1st Prize: Holiday of a Lifetime (Holiday Voucher to the value of €3,000 with Globe Travel), 2nd Prize: Berlin Christmas Market 2019 to the value of €500 with Globe Travel, 3rd Prize: Tickets to a Sports Event of your choosing (Ticketmaster Voucher valued €300), 4th Prize Tickets to a Music Event of your choosing (Ticketmaster Voucher valued €200).

Tickets cost only €5 or a book of 6 for €25 and will be on sale from 1st August – 21st December 2018 at Boomerang Reception and various local outlets. The draw will then take place on January 7th, 2019 in Boomerang Youth Service.

“Why not consider treating yourself to a ticket or buying one as a present for family or friends – better than a lottery ticket and you will be safe in the knowledge that the full cost of your ticket will go directly to the organisation,” adds Catrina.

“Your ticket purchase will help support the ongoing running and development of the service, and also give you the chance to have the Holiday you have always dreamed of.”

The Boomerang Youth Centre & Café opened its doors five years ago and is a place where young people can enjoy a safe drink and drug free space to meet friends, grab a bite to eat, take part in art, music or activity classes, access computers or just chill out.

“We have faced and overcome many challenges and difficulties over the past 25 years and we are extremely proud of our work and the support and care we have shown to many young people over the years,” adds Catrina.

“This is made possible by the dedicated Board of Management and staff who are caring, committed and dedicated to supporting young people.”
