LAST PUBLIC RALLY FOR GAVIN DUFFY
A large crowd is expected for the final rally of the Presidential Election for local candidate Gavin Duffy next Monday night, October 22nd in Drogheda.
Organised by local supporters, the evening of music and conversation will be held at the Weavers Pub on West Street, a fitting location as it is the place where Gavin grew up in the seventies, his family living ‘over the shop’, part of the thriving business community of the town centre at that time.
The evening is an opportunity for the people of the North East to put questions to the local candidate before polling day on Friday, October 26th.
Besides his successful media and business career, Gavin Duffy and his wife Orlaith Carmody have long been well known and enthusiastic supporters of all causes and concerns in Louth. In that co-operative spirit, people of the locality are invited to come along to find out more about the campaign, and find out how we might help a Drogheda man to the Áras.
Gavin has a clear and definite ambition for the role of President, and how it can serve the people better, which he is keen to share. But equally, he welcomes the input and opinions of his friends and neighbours in the county, and is looking forward to hearing them.
