Credit Union delighted to back Highlanes exhibition

-

As ‘just a bit extraordinary’, the solo exhibition by artist Theresa Nanigian, continues to attract audiences to Highlanes Gallery, its neighbours, Drogheda Credit Union, are delighted with their sponsorship of this important exhibition.

Patricia White speaking on behalf of the Credit Union said “Sponsoring like this is important to us as we are committed to connect with our communities and support initiatives that do this. Arts & Culture are vital for the human spirit and this exhibition by Theresa Nanigian explores identity and what it means to be human, and from the perspective of teenagers, adults and older people.”

She continued “We are thrilled with Highlanes Gallery’s ambition for its projects and exhibitions, and the gallery has successfully already toured this to two venues in Ireland, in Dublin and in Limerick.”

Aoife Ruane, curator of the exhibition and gallery director echoed the appreciation and insightful sponsorship by Drogheda Credit Union, adding that audiences as broad as children in education, adults in groups, people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia have been accessing the exhibition, and that there is a special addition for this Arts Council Touring Supported Exhibition through Arts & Disability Ireland to audiences who are blind and with visual impairments using Discovery Pens, exploring the works through audio descriptions, artist’s and curatorial statements.

‘Go see ‘just a bit extraordinary’ which continues until Saturday 3rd November.’
