PEAKY NIGHT FOR HANNAH

- By ALISON COMYN

WEST Street Drogheda was transformed into Birmingham circa 1920, as the Westcourt Hotel played host to a very special event in aid of Hannah ‘ The Warrior Princesss’ Donnelly.

The Peaky Blinders themed ball took place on October 12th, and hundreds donned their flapper dresses and gangster suits to join in the fancy-dress fun, to raise funds to assist Hannah in her trip back to Drogheda.

Dawn Finnegan, who was on the organising committee for the ball, rocked the theme in her black lace number and praised everyone involved for getting into the spirit.

“It was the most the amazing night at our Peaky Blinders themed ball for our Hannah Donnelly, and everyone looked absolutely stunning in their 1920s outfits.” she commented. “A huge thank you to everyone for the fantastic support and massive love to Hannah’s Warriors, you’re all the most amazing group of people and I’m so happy I get to be part of this committee with you to organise this event for Hannah.

Organiser Jade Connor also looked amazing in her pale blue flapper’s dress and added her thanks to everyone who came. “What a night last night for my gal” It was unbelievable night and thank you to everyone who came and supported and sponsored our event,” she said. “We are one step closer of achieving our goal of getting Hannah home and we won’t stop until we do.”
