SET DANCING WEEKEND.

They came, they danced their hearts out. Once again the annual Set Dancing Weekend at An-Grianan was a huge success. Triskell, Taylors Cross Ceili Band and the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil winning Dartry Ceili Band were the main music providers. Visitors could not stop praising the event and have already booked themselves in for next year. Other events making up the weekend included local musician Stephen Dunne, workshops on Set Dancing, Sean Nos Singing, singing, whistle, flute and concertina and many other sessions. A huge well done and congratulations to all concerned in organising this marvellous event. Set Dancing has resumed on Thursday nights in Sandpit Hall at 8.30pm. Beginners are welcome. This is a great way to keep in shape and learn the art of Set Dancing.
