League seeks more entries for Singles

NOW is the last chance to enter this year’s Fosters Duleek & District League Singles Competition which takes place next Sunday in Drogheda’s Westcourt Hotel Drogheda.

The entries deadline is this Thursday as the draw takes place that evening in Duleek’s Carranstown Inn at 8.30pm sharp.

The League Doubles Competition on Sunday March 3rd also takes place in the Westcourt and the deadline for entries in that event is Thursday February 28th.

Meanwhile, the league continued last Friday night with a full round of matches in all four divisions and Mariner took a step nearer to qualifying for the semi-finals without the need for a last-eight tie when defeating Carranstown A away from home.

In Division 1 Maguires are now in pole position to make the final and are likely to be joined in the knockout stages by Thatch C and Grennans, with the fourth qualifying position up for grabs.
