SPORTS STAR DYLAN.

Congratula­tions to a young local man Dylan Keating who was recently crowned Drogheda Independen­t Coca Cola “Sport Star of the Year. Dylan aged 16 who is Seapoint Junior Captain for 2019 has been enjoying remarkable success on the Golf Course for the past 12 months and is very well deserving of this latest award. Dylan is a son of Gary and Valerie Keating.

TERMONFECK­IN MACRA

. The Club is going bowling on Tuesday February 5th and new members are welcome to attend. There are a number of upcoming competitio­ns which include Basketball, Volleyball and Badminton and are being held in Lannleire Pavillon, Dunleer on Friday February 8th. The next monthly meeting will be held in Keogh’s pub, Ballymaken­ny on Wednesday February 13th at 9pm. New members most welcome as always. ST. FECHIN’S LOTTO.

The numbers drawn were 8, 9, 15 and 21. There was no winner of the jackpot. The €100 winner was Bobby Levins. Winners of €20 were Laurence Mc Evoy, Sabina Beirth, Derek Holcroft, Mary Mc Elroy and Shane Winters. The jackpot is now at €3,400 and is sponsored by Madden’s Centra, Termonfeck­in.

ST. FECHIN’S LADIES.

St. Fechin’s Ladies will hold a Pub Quiz on Friday February 15th at 8.30pm in Keogh’s, Ballymaken­ny. Table of 4-€40. All are welcome.

SET DANCING.

Set Dancing is held on Thursday nights in Sandpit Hall at 8.30pm. Beginners are welcome. This is a great way to keep in shape and learn the art of Set Dancing.

SCHOOL ENROLMENTS.

Enrollment­s for the 2019/2020 school year are being accepted by both Parish Schools. Applicatio­n forms are available from Scoil Naomh Feichin and Scoil Mhuire gan Smal. Completed forms should be returned by Friday February 15th.

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL.

The next meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council takes place on Wednesday February 6th in the Termonfeck­in Credit Union Offices at 7.30pm. All members are asked to attend.

ADORATION.

Eucharisti­c Adoration takes place on Monday evenings from 7-8pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Why not come and spend some quiet time in the presence of the Lord.
