Theft of goods

A 35-year-old man accused of stealing €253.95-worth of goods from a Drogheda store, has entered a plea of not guilty to the charge and opted for a trial before a judge and jury.

It is alleged James Paul Maughan, Baskin Park, Stockhole Lane, Cloghran, Dublin 17, committed the offence at Smyth’s Toys, M1 Retail Park on 30 May, 2017.

The case was adjourned to 5 April for a book of evidence.
