Woman is remanded

A 37-year-old woman charged in connection with the seizure of almost €1 million-worth of drugs, has been further remanded in custody with consent to high court bail.

Natalie Chiper, Tullyard, Ballymakenny, Drogheda, is accused of possession of cannabis herb, valued €940,000, for sale or supply at The Whitehouse, Tullyard, Ballymakenny and simple possession of the drugs on 23 January last.

The court heard there was consent to a remand in custody to Drogheda court on 8 March next.
