Ken Donagh was a great man for the music

I KNOW the people in Comhaltas were very upset with the passing of long time member Ken Donagh recently.

‘A true son of Drogheda and a wonderful friend to Drogheda Comhaltas,’ is how they described him.

‘He will be very sadly missed by his family and friends and especially here at Drogheda Comhaltas where he shared so much of his life, his laughter, his heart and his wonderful voice with us. We are better people for having known him and will remember him as one of Drogheda’s greatest characters. Sweet dreams Ken. We will miss you.’

He was very popular with the visitors at the d Hotel sessions .
