Talented Ardee duo bring home the medals
TWO exceptional athletes from Ardee & District AC proudly brought home well-deserved medals from major competitions last Saturday.
Among the club’s juveniles, Kya Mothiram won gold in the Under-14 shot putt at the Leinster Indoor Championships in Athlone with a personal best throw of 10.82m.
And for the seniors, Bernie Balfe took home the bronze at the Irish National 50K Championships in Kildare in a time of 4:20:56.
