Your chance to win a trolley dash

-

Just €1 could win you the chance to fill your trolley at Drogheda’s Lidl store in a fun filled charity dash which is helping to raise funds for Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health.

The supermarket is offering customers the opportunity to win their Christmas shop with The Lidl Trolley Dash. Tickets can be purchased in any Lidl store for just €1 with all proceeds raised through ticket sales going to the company’s charity partner, Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health.

Last year, Lidl’s 2018 Trolley Dashes raised over €11,479 in County Louth for Jigsaw.

David Gillick, Lidl Ambassador said: ‘ The money raised through ticket sales across Lidl’s 162 stores will go to Jigsaw to help them to continue to deliver a vital service to young people, so we encourage customers in Louth to dig deep this Christmas and support this worthy cause!’

Customers can purchase a €1 Trolley Dash ticket at the checkout in any of Lidl’s 162 stores throughout Ireland from Monday, 11th November. Customers can buy as many tickets to enter the draw as they like, giving them more chance to be one of the lucky winners randomly chosen from each of Lidl’s 162 stores.

The winners of each draw will have the opportunity to do a ‘Supermarket Sweep’ style dash around their local Lidl store, grabbing as much of their Christmas shopping as they can in just two minutes. As the National Centre for Youth Mental Health, Jigsaw provide a range of free mental health support services for young people between the ages of 12 and 25.
