CLOCK TOWER OPEN

Minister Michael Ring was in Julianstow­n on Friday evening last to cut the ribbon on the beautiful village clock located at the Lime Kiln.

This was a great community project delivered through the Town & Village Renewal Scheme.

Well done all.

FIRST RESPONDERS

The Stamullen Community First Responder group is live for the last number of years and assisting with calls from the National Ambulance Service. We would like expand this service to the Community in Julianstow­n/ Whitecross. To enable us to do this we need volunteers from the village.

Full training will be provided free of charge.

JULIANSTOW­N BADMINTON

Badminton takes place each Tuesday evening at 8pm new members 18yrs + always welcome. All standards welcome! Great time to start playing ahead of the competitiv­e season.

We are in particular looking for beginner/intermedia­te ladies to join one of our teams!

CHRISTMAS MARKET IN JULIANSTOW­N

On Saturday 7th December the Lime Kiln Christmas Market will take place and it’s in aid of The Alzheimers Society of Ireland, Drogheda Day Care Centre.

This one-day event is organised by young local woman Niamh Curtis, who worked in the Lime Kiln. The Christmas market will feature a host of local craft makers and sellers with gift ideas for all ages.

There will also be live music on the day plus a bumper raffle with super prizes. Kick off your Christmas shopping whilst supporting this local cause.

PARISH FUND RAISING BINGO

The Annual Bingo night will take place in the City North Hotel on Wednesday, 4th December. We will be holding a Raffle on the night of the Bingo, and we would really appreciate any donations towards same. Donations can be festive themed; Christmas Cakes, puddings, bottles, sweets, gifts etc. and can be left in the sacristy or in the parish office.
