SANTA AT THE LIFEBOAT STATION.
Santa will be arriving at the Lifeboat Station on Saturday 21st December at around 3 p.m. Weather permitting, he will arrive in the Lifeboat. It is hoped Mrs. Claus will come with him but she probably will have too much to do for Christmas at home after all the work she did with the Elves in making the toys and everything else for Christmas. Try to get down early and avoid the rush.
MULLED WINE RECEPTION AT STATION.
To all who helped out at the recent Mulled Wine reception at the Lifeboat Station, a very big thank you. You were all a great help and thanks also to those who gave items for the wonderful hampers for the raffle. The winners were Owen Medlan, Matthew Kirwan, Maura Devine, Rebecca Kirwan and the winner of the voucher was Noel Phillips.
POLAR SWIM AT CLOGHERHEAD BEACH.
Congratulations to all the brave people who took to the water on Saturday 30th November in aid of Special Olympics.
Hundreds and hundreds of people with big smiles on their faces entered the water, quite willingly, perhaps the smile might have drooped a little bit when they came out, but I am sure they were smiling inside knowing the good they had done for Special Olympics.
The planners of the event are to be congratulated also. Roll on next year.
