Reminder that each weekday Mass for Advent will be at 7.30p.m.

Remembering our Emigrants during the Nativity Season. There are slips available at the doors of the church to write a name of a person who is going to be away from your home at this time. It may be a family member or friend who is living in another country, who is in hospital or who is in care.

We think of how the Holy Family emigrated to Egypt for refuge.

Slips can be returned to basket in the church sanctuary and all will be prayed for during the Masses of the Nativity Season.

TULLYALLEN TRACTOR RUN

Plans for The Tullyallen Tractor Run are well under way. There will be lots of vintage tractors, cars and vehicles of all kinds on display.

The chosen date this year is Thursday, December 27th and this year’s Tractor Run will be held in memory of Gerry Healy who sadly passed away earlier in the year. Gerry was an integral part of the organising over the last few years and this the run will be a fitting tribute to him.

Registration is in the Parochial Hall at 12 noon with everyone heading off at 1pm. It is then back to The Morning Star, Tullyallen for refreshments, a raffle and lots of banter about the day. There will be prizes for different categories of vehicles and if last year is anything to go by this is not one to be missed. So mark this one in your diary over the festive period.

PHARMACY CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY

Save Saturday, 14th December for the Tullyallen Pharmacy Customer Appreciation Day. This annual event is always a great kick start to the Christmas season for our village. There will be lots of arts and crafts and hot chocolate while waiting for Santa to arrive at 2pm.

Bring your letter to Santa and pop it into Santa’s post box. Make a wish to hang on the pharmacy wishing tree, and that’s just for the kids.

There will be mulled wine, mince pies and 10% off all Christmas gifts. So pop along on the day and get into the Christmas mood.

SLIMMING WORLD TIMES

Tullyallen Slimming World classes are on every Thursday and the times have changed There were previously 2 classes on Thursday but Amanda has come up with a plan to merge both classes. Class is now at 6pm for everyone. This will make the classes a wee bit larger but Amanda with her experience knows that the more people that come together and sit in class after weigh in, the better the results are for everyone. The members can all share their experiences, successes, struggles and all help each other on their weight loss journey. All existing members, returning members and new members are more than welcome to come along. Whether you need to lose a little or a lot, Slimming World Tullyallen is the place to be - there is no judgement, just encouragement and guidance. Amanda will still be there giving plenty of inspiration and motivation to everyone who comes along.
