Love Louth GAA very much in air for Valentine’s

-

LOVE is in the air as Louth GAA launches a special Valentines promotion in conjunction with their Wee County Double House Draw which will mean that 14 lucky tickets holders prior to February 16th will win a second ticket in the main draw scheduled to take place on May 16th in the Centre of Excellence in Darver.

Tickets are now available at every GAA club in County Louth, so just call the chairperson or local committee before the deadline and you could be the luck winner of that extra ticket.

Steering committee chair and County Treasurer, Aidan Berrill has expressed pleasure at the warm response to the stadium fundraiser and is delighted to be involved in one of the most successful and ambitious events in the history of Louth GAA. Stalwarts, Frank Lynch, Danny Culligan, and Jim Thornton have between them already amassed a huge number of ticket sales and more so have encouraged and invited many of their Louth colleagues and partisans of many decades of Louth football to do likewise. Committee members are on a whirlwind tour of the county promoting the draw and are explaining the background to the fundraiser and how clubs, members, supporters and friends can help in the effort. All club efforts are very much appreciated.

The steering committee consists of members from all parts of the Wee County and anybody interested in assisting at any of the planned events can contact any member and/or go on to www.pickahouse.ie and make contact. In addition the steering group meets on Thursday evenings at the Imperial Hotel and anybody who has ideas and/or time to help in any way please just call in any Thursday evening from 8:00pm.
