GET in Line to Walk the Line as the Johnny Cash Roadshow comes to Drogheda on Wednesday, February 12th.

This year the Johnny Cash Roadshow pays homage to Cash’s American recordings alongside his iconic wife June Carter (Emily Heighway), the Roadshow Horns and, on selected shows, the Carter Sisters.

Featuring Clive John as ‘ The Man in Black’, the show features a full live band and brass section with narration and visuals, taking you on a musical journey through the incredible life of John R Cash.

This is the only show to be endorsed by the Cash family.

Clive John is an award winning, singer/ songwriter based in Malvern, Worcesters­hire.

An establishe­d artist in his own right with eight albums of his own material under his belt. Clive’s seventh album, The Spirit, was nominated Best British Country Album of the year and the single was at Number 1 for 8 weeks in Hot Disc Country Music Charts.

His eighth studio album, A Brand New Beginning will be released for early 2018 on CD and all digital outlets.

However, Clive is better known to hundreds of thousands across Europe performing his version of Johnny Cash in the critically acclaimed theatre production – The Johnny Cash Roadshow.

The show also features Emily Heighway as June Carter. Emily is a singer/actress from London and graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre from the renowned Birmingham Theatre School in 2012.

She has appeared in musicals/plays such as ‘War and Peace’, ‘ The Matchgirls’, ‘Beauty and The Beast’, ‘ Dracula – The Musical’, ‘ King Lear’ and ‘ The Full Monty’ and has been lucky enough to travel the world, singing in various shows and production­s.

The performanc­e will include all the hits including Walk The Line, Ring Of Fire, Boy Named Sue With His More Atmospheri­c Songs Like Hurt, Rusty Cage, And Hurt Making This Year’s Show An Emotional Roller-coaster Through Cash’s Career.

The theatre show is the result of years of constant work and developmen­t in creating the most fitting celebratio­n of the life and work of the legendary Johnny Cash.
