KNOCKNAGIN STENCH

A number of local people in the Delvin Road, Legdoory and the Knocknagin Bridge area of Gormanston have made comment recently about a pretty horrific smell that is emitting in the area of Knocknagin and the lower or eastern end of the Delvin/Legdoory Road.

This, sewage-like, stench has been emitting in this area now for a number of months and although Meath Co. Council Officials have visited the area in recent times trying to locate the source of this smell the problem still very much exists in the locality and, to date, as one local put it: `Nothing still hasn’t been done about it and the smell appears to be getting worse`.
