HEALTH & SAFETY REILIG MHUIRE CEMETERY
We have recently received advice informing us that people should not place any items in the cemetery that create a heightened insurance risk.
This was on the foot of numerous complaints that have been made regarding a number of seats that have been introduced into the cemetery without permission.
As this has been identified as a heightened risk, we would kindly ask people who have placed seats in the cemetery to take them home as soon as possible.
Perhaps you could have them as a memorial of your loved ones in your garden or in another appropriate place. Please also remember in placing flowers or other items on your plots, to keep them within the area of your plot. Items that are outside the area of a plot will have to be removed. Guidelines regarding headstones and surrounds are to be found on Laytown Church website at www. sacredheartlaytown.com
