CORONAVIRUS.

As the Coronavirus (Covid 19) has now become a Pandemic, the Government has decided on the closure of schools nationwide up to March 29th.

This was always going to be a possibility and it is in our best interests that it has happened. Both Parish Schools have accepted the decision and children have been advised on how to continue their studies at home. Likewise the decisions by the GAA, FAI and IRFU to suspend all activities for the time being had to be made in our best interests.

Guidelines have also been issued for attending Masses and other religious ceremonies. Yes there will be some hardship from these decisions for the Parish but hopefully the country will come through it and pick up again. As the saying goes, “our health is our wealth”. Please God there will be an end in sight.

LENTEN TALKS.

Unfortunately the remaining Lenten talks organised for our Pastoral Area on Monday during March have been cancelled for the moment. It is hoped to reschedule them in the near future.
