Best GAA game you’ve ever watched?

The best game I’ve ever watched was Dublin v Kerry in the All Ireland semi-final in 2013. Dublin and Kerry is always a classic but this was the best of them all. With 4 first half goals and Kevin McMannamon’s goal in the 69th minute to win the game, I couldn’t take my eyes off it for a second. Seeing the countries best players like Bernard Brogan, Diarmuid Connolly, James O’Donoghue and the Gooch, all in their element on the day, it was brilliant. I have it recorded on my television and I could watch it every night..

Best game you’ve played in?

There’s been a lot of brilliant games over the years that I’ve played in with club and county, with club there have been many underage league and championship wins, playing in 6 minor championship finals (winning 5) and the big senior championship win in 2018.

Playing with Louth there have been many big games also, in underage we have played in 2 all Ireland’s and won an u16 and minor Leinster title. Since 2018 with the senior squad we’ve won 2 junior Leinster Championships, runners up in the all Ireland junior league and championship in 2018 and

The best out of all of those would have to be the recent All Ireland junior title we won in September 2019. After losing in 2018, we knew we couldn’t come out and go through the same heartbreak again. We worked extremely hard all year, with our goal from day 1 being winning the All Ireland. Thankfully all that hard work paid off and we got to climb the steps of the hogan stand and life an all Ireland trophy, which is every GAA players dream. watching Dublin play since I was young. They’re a great team who have some of the best players in the country and play some of the best football. They’re unreal in looks and talent. I’ve got more Dublin gear than you could imagine, which doesn’t please our Louth manager when I wear it all to training three nights a week.

All-time favourite player?

My favorite player growing up was always Bernard Brogan from Dublin. We all needed an inspiration growing up and always wanted to be like someone, and he’s been the person I’ve always looked up to as a player because he was on of the best corner forwards in the country.

Best player you’ve played with?

The best player I’ve played with and still to this day play with would be my partner in crime Niamh Rice.

Funniest player you’ve played with?

The funniest would have to be Aoife Russell. We all have to laugh at her because she’s always complaining or crying about something.

Best GAA memory?

The best memory is that first all Ireland win last year. It’s something that I’ll talk about forever.

Worst GAA memory?

My worst memory of gaa is something that will haunt me forever. It was an underage championship final I played in a few years ago. I missed a penalty in the last minute that would’ve put us 2 points ahead and more than likely would’ve won us the game. Since then I’ve never been near the penalty spot and don’t think I ever will.
