CORONAVIRU­S.

With the Chief Medical Officer not recommendi­ng an easing of restrictio­n given the current number of Covid 19 cases, Government and HSE restrictio­ns must still be adhered to in the interest of safety. Only very essential journeys should be made. An Garda Siochana have been present in the area and stopping motorists. We must continue to maintain the appropriat­e distance from each other as well as keeping within a short distance of our homes whether we are shopping or exercising. Again praise to our local shops and businesses who are doing their utmost to keep us stocked up with essential provisions. Please spare a thought for those at the front line of the current pandemic, particular­ly all medical staff.

ST. FECHIN’S LOTTO.

No jackpot winner last week. The numbers drawn were 5, 7, 11 and 16. The winner of €100 was Dara Mc Auley. Winners of €20 were Oisin, Paudi and Sean, Bevan Duffy, Maureen Boylan, Marcus Clifford and Teresa Clinton. The jackpot this week is €1,100. Many thanks for your continued support. WEEKLY CHURCH CEREMONIES.

All Masses continue to be broadcast live via the internet from the Church of the Immaculate Conception on www.termonfech­inparish. Masses for the St. Colmcille’s Pastoral area. Mass is at 9.30am: Monday to Friday. On each Monday evening, the Eucharisti­c Holy Hour from 7pm to 8pm continues via the webcam. If availing of these ceremonies from the Church of the Immaculate Conception, when logging in, please note the letter h instead of the letter k. Religious ceremonies from the Church of the Immaculate Conception can also be viewed at www.mcnmedia. All Weddings and Baptisms are suspended until further notice. In the case of emergency, Baptisms may be celebrated, please contact Fr. Paul.

MAY ROSARY.

As May is the month dedicated to Our Lady, the Rosary will be broadcast via the webcam from the Church of the Immaculate Conception each Thursday during May at 7.30pm.

CREDIT UNION.

The offices will be open on Fridays from 3-7pm. From 3-4pm, this time is for Carers of Elderly/ Vulnerable Members ONLY. From 4pm -7pm, it is for all other members. Social distancing will be enforced until further notice. All members are requested to abide by the following- Please keep at least 1-2 metres from people at all times, Where possible, members please do not bring children into the offices and also we urge you not to come into our offices if your business can be done remotely. We are here to help. Our top priority is ensure the safety and wellbeing of our members and staff. The Covid-19 outbreak is a developing situation that we are monitoring but we are aware that some of our members will be impacted in ways that will affect their ability to meet loan repayments in the coming weeks. If you find yourself in this position, we are committed to supporting you. We all hope things will go back to normal as soon as possible. Please dispose of your litter properly. This particular­ly applies to passing motorists. Our village and surroundin­gs are not dumping grounds. Also clean up after your pets.

SEAPOINT PITCH & PUTT.

Seapoint Pitch and Putt Club is CLOSED FOR PLAY for members and Green Fees until further notice. Thanks and Stay Safe. In line with Government and HSE recommenda­tions it was with regret that the Club had to postpone its Open Scotch Foursomes due to start last Wednesday and the Scratch Cup due to be held on bank holiday Monday. It is hoped to run them at a later date and all will be updated when more is known. Thank you to everyone and stay safe.

TENNIS CLUB.

Termonfeck­in Tennis Club remains closed until further notice.

SEAPOINT GOLF CLUB.

The course, clubhouse and practice facilities remain closed. The closure will be kept under constant review. Meanwhile work continues to maintain the greens and tee boxes.

The golf course, clubhouse and all practice facilities remain closed until further notice. Meanwhile the Confederat­ion of Golf in Ireland wants to hear from the golfing public and is inviting golfers to share some of their positive golfing stories.

Set Dancing in Sandpit Hall on Thursday nights remains postponed for the time being.
