Boyne Valley hotels gearing up to open doors

-

NEXT Monday June 29th, the hospitality industry across counties Louth and Meath will once again reopen their doors to welcome guests and locals back in a responsible and sustainable manner.

They have been closed due to Covid -19 since mid-March and are looking forward to doing what they do best, extending a warm welcome to both loyal and new customers to return and enjoy the wonderful hospitality, synonymous with the hotel industry in the Boyne Valley.

The hospitality industry across the Boyne Valley has used this time wisely.

Hotels have been busy painting, redecorating, cleaning and implementing a hygiene regime to the highest standards in anticipation of reopening to their valued guests, and have implemented best practice procedures in line with Failte Ireland’s Industry Operational Guidelines with employee and guest health and wellbeing to the forefront at all times.

Venues across the Boyne Valley have joined forces as a united voice together with Boyne Valley Tourism to ask people to ‘Support Boyne Valley tourism businesses as we reopen’. They will offer the same exceptional service that they are renowned for. Each hotel has committed to a Safety Welcome for each guest on arrival at the hotel. The priority of hotel management and staff is to make guests feel welcome and safe during their stay.

‘After spending months in lockdown, we are looking forward to seeing friendly faces return to have lunch out together, reunite with their families or have a hotel break away,” says Helen Leddy, Boyne Valley Tourism Hotel Representative. “People will appreciate the little things like having a coffee or lunch out. We have been working hard to implement disinfection procedures and prepare our hotels for reopening. We are lucky that our hotels across the Boyne Valley are spacious and we are confident that we can implement physical distancing across our public areas. Our hotels are located across rural towns and countryside, with lots of opportunity to get out for peaceful walks in the fresh air, while in the evening time, retreating to the beautiful surrounds of our restaurants serving fresh local produce from Boyne Valley Flavours.’
