Book your slot to attend Mass

Never mind your wash and blowdry; now you’ll have to book an appointment for your seat at Mass!

The Parish Priest of St. Mary’s and Holy Family, Fr. Phil Gaffney, has expressed his frustration at the outgoing Government’s failure to ease the ban limiting church attendance to 50 people.

This decision places local parish authorities in the unprecedented position of introducing a booking system for Sunday Mass attendance.

According to Fr. Gaffney, local worshippers will now be required to book in advance, with their local parish office, if they wish to attend Sunday Mass.

Booking for St. Mary’s Church will take place, by telephone only, at 041 9834587, on Friday between 10am and 1pm while booking for Holy Family, Ballsgrove, will be at the same time, also by telephone, on 041 9831991. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to book outside these times.
