A 68-year-old Drogheda woman who has suffered for 46 years with chronic rheumatoid arthritis, claimed last week that she had been cured by the powers of faith healer, Danny Gallagher.

Mrs. Agnes Rice of 78 Bothar Brugha, contracted the ailment when she was 21 and two severe bouts in recent years left her virtually bed-ridden. She was affected from “head to toe” and even with support could only manage to find her way from bed to bathroom. “Doctors.” she said, “did all they, could, but there is no-cure for it.” So on the advice of a friend she visited Danny when he held clinics in the town at the beginning of August.

“I felt very frail and weak going down to Danny. My health was gone. But I knew in my iheart and soul that I would be cured,” said a sprightly and mobile 68-year-old. “The first time I went down, I had to be carried in, but coming out I was able to walk on my own. I went a second time and felt a little better and after the third visit I was able to walk around. I am now able to do things that I haven’t done for years as the two bad attacks left me unable to do anything. Danny,” she says, “you have given be back so much.” .
