Meath stars take part in ‘solo’ cha

THE ‘A Better Life for Livie’ campaign in aid of ninemonth-old Livie Mulhern from Kentstown received a massive boost on Sunday when a 75km Solo Challenge spearheaded by Rory O’Connor (aka Rory’s Stories) which involved 10

Meath GAA clubs along with Garristown GFC in Dublin helped take the total raised to more than €550,000 by Monday lunchtime.

Livie, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1, needs to raise €2 million in total for life-saving treatment in the United States before her second birthday and Sunday’s event also boosted the campaign’s profile in their attempts to raise the much-needed funds.
