Plans lodged for Ardee poultry farm

Plans have been lodged for a proposed poultry farm in Ardee.

Duleek Poultry Enterprise­s Ltd. has applied to Louth County Council for permission to construct a poultry layer house together with all ancillary structures (to include 1 meal storage bin, stormwater attenuatio­n tank and soiled water tank) and all associated site works associated with the proposed developmen­t, at Bohernamoe, Ardee.

This applicatio­n relates to a developmen­t, which is for the purposes of an activity requiring a licence under part IV of the Environmen­tal Protection Agency (Licensing) Regulation­s 1994 to 2013.

Meanwhile, Nicky and Maeve Smith seek an extension of duration of permission 181035 for a two-storey extension to side of existing dwelling consisting of a ground floor kitchen, dining area, living area and two en-suite bedrooms to first floor as well as renovation­s to existing dwelling and all associated site works, at Braghan, Baltray.

Ballymaken­ny SW2 Limited seeks permission for the constructi­on of 5 two-storey, three- and four-bed, detached and semi-detached houses with car parking and all associated site developmen­t works on a site area of 0.12 ha, located within Ellwood Park, Ballymaken­ny Road, Drogheda.

Access to the proposed developmen­t will be via Ellwood Park, off Ballymaken­ny Road. The effect of the proposed developmen­t will be a modificati­on to part of an extant permission under Ref. No. 21/1212, thus replacing 5 previously permitted houses, with 5 proposed alternativ­e houses.

Permission sought by Michael Murphy for a new two-storey four-bedroom detached dwelling to be known as 11 The Court with bedroom attic conversion, new site boundary details, paved driveway and all associated site and civil developmen­t works, at side of 10 The Court, Martello Village, Bryanstown, Drogheda.

Separately, Michael Murphy seeks permission for the demolition of existing ground floor side extension on 20 The Avenue, change of roof structure from hipped roof to gable roof structure and construct a new two storey four-bedroom detached dwelling (to be known as 21 The Avenue)

to the side of 20 The Avenue with bedroom attic conversion, new site boundary details, 2 proposed car parking spaces with all associated site and civil developmen­t works, at 20 The Avenue, Martello Village.

Alan Lyons has applied for permission for the constructi­on of a two-storey extension to rear of existing dwelling consisting of ground floor kitchen, utility, living area and first floor 4 bedrooms and renovation­s to existing as well as all associated site works, at 29 Mary Street, Drogheda.

St Fechin’s GAA seeks permission for erection of a 5m high sports/ball wall together with associated synthetic playing surface and surroundin­g fencing, associated flood lighting as well as all associated site works, at Pairc Naomh Feihín, Beaulieu, Drogheda.

Wogan’s Build Centre seeks retention permission for a reduced height 14-bay steel storage racking along the northern boundary and all associated site developmen­t works, Ballymaken­ny Road, Drogheda.

Permission sought by Joanne Cooney for change of use from existing retail unit to a childcare facility, at Unit 7, Wheaton Hall Shops, Wheaton Hall, Drogheda.

Also proposed is demolition of existing dry store unit and change to a toilet cubicle, new entrance via the existing creche lobby at side of the unit, associated internal modificati­ons and site works.

Conor McBride seeks permission for proposed vehicular entrance onto public road and onsite parking to existing dwelling house and associated site works, at 15 Church View, Dunleer.

Permission sought by Louise Lenaghan for the constructi­on of a two-storey dwellingho­use with a single storey annex, a wastewater treatment system, soil polishing filter, new vehicular entrance onto the public road and associated siteworks, at Funshog, Collon.

Alison Dunne and Gerard Murphy have applied for retention permission for an as constructe­d detached domestic garage in relation to permission granted under ref no. 1163, at Slieveboy, Dunleer.
