Talbot Suites receive their first guests

-

TALBOT Suites at Stonebridge are officially open for business after the arrival of their first guests recently.

The Tumulty family from Maynooth got the first glimpse of the new self-catering apartments on Paul Quay when they were welcomed to the Seaview apartment by General Manager Suzanne Furlong. In honour of their stay, hotel staff treated the family to complimentary bathrobes, slippers and flowers, which were awaiting in the room on arrival.

Des and Olive Tumulty were joined by their kids eight-year-old Lily and two-year-old Ronan for the stay.

Speaking about being the first guests, Olive said: ‘It’s absolute luxury and is brilliant for families. I will be telling all my friends.’

According to Olive, her daughter Lily was very impressed with the TVs and enjoyed making a trip to the pool in the Quay Leisure Centre with her brother. The family also enjoyed a dinner in the Oyster Lane Restaurant during their stay and were provided with discount vouchers for shops, attractions and businesses around the town.

The trip served as a treat for Olive, who was named Lidl Mum of the Year in 2015. Her friend nominated her for the award following the death of her young daughter Katie from a mitochondrial disorder. Olive won the award for her positive attitude and strength following her sad loss. Since Katie’s death, Olive has been fundraising for the Laura Lynn Foundation and Jack and Jill.

The Talbot Suites are comprised of 73 luxury apartments in Wexford town. They are now open for bookings and were recently announced as the official accommodation partner for the UEFA Women’s Champion’s League.
