Congratulations to player Niall Hughes and coach Matty Forde on Wexford beating Louth in the Leinster final of Junior football.

With schools closed about now, all age group fixtures are in full swing. What better way for youngsters to spend an evening than outdoors, exercising and playing with their friends. Good for adults too. Tuesday, June 28, has the under-12 hurlers in the Rock v Monageer. On Wednesday, June 29, at 6.45 p.m. the ladies play Tinahealy in Kilanerin. Thursday, June 30, sees the under-14 hurlers play Crossabeg in the Rock. Friday, July 1, in the field at 7 p.m. has both the under-10 boys hurling v Castletown and the under-12 girls playing. Saturday, July 2, has the under-12 boys hosting two teams from Kilmacud Crokes at noon. Monday, July 4, has the under-16 hurlers play Ferns in the Rock at 7.30 p.m. See fixtures for the next rounds of adult games.

With so many young kids arriving and departing the field at the one time, please park, or drop kids off, at the wall or road parking areas. It is safer.

Team of the week goes to the under-12 girls who are now in the county semi-final, and are top of their group, having recently beaten Ballygarrett.
