BLESSING OF THE GRAVES

The Blessing of the Graves will take place on Sunday, July 10, at 3 p.m.

FIELD DAY

The Castletown Parish field day will take place on Sunday, July 31, from 2 p.m. in the school grounds. This event is only as good as the support it gets, it’s our community working for each other, so while there are many other attractions on the day, this is OUR day and we hope you choose to support us.

We are looking for donations of home baking. This is always a very popular stall and once again we ask you to help with your own speciality. There is nothing like a bit of ‘home baking’ to set the taste buds wild J This can be brought along on the day. We are looking for donations of books for our book stall. We can take these in after 11 a.m. Mass or on the day. Good as new items are also welcome, these must be in GREAT condition and fit for sale

We are always looking for volunteers. If you have a few hours to spare on the day or the day before to help us set up, please contact Mick Halpin at 087 6813102.

We have lots of fun, games, raffles, stalls and challenges lined up for the young and young at heart. Enjoy a cuppa and some amazing home baking or something from the barbecue. Search through our sale stalls – new items, good as new and book stall. Win a cake, a hamper, a goldfish or one of the grand prizes in our main draw. Dog show, what beauties will be on show this year? There will be strawberries and cream, mini café, ice cream and tuc shop. For FUN – penalty kick, wheel of fortune, races.
