PARACHUTE JUMP

Local Kildavin man, Ned Murphy, took to the sky in his first ever parachute jump, in aid of Children’s Medical and Research Foundation, Crumlin Hospital. This somewhat terrify experience took place at the Irish parachute Club in Offaly on Saturday, June 4, watched by his close family. An outstanding sum of €2,065 was raised. Ned and his family would like to thank all those who donated and will be greatly appreciated by Crumlin Hospital. Well done Ned.

SENATOR CLINIC

Senator Jennifer Murnane O’Connor Clinic will be held in Dunne’s Bar, Clonegal on Friday, July 8, at 6.30 p.m.

PATRON MASSES

The Patron Masses will take place in the Parish on the first weekend of July. Clonegal Mass, Saturday, July 2, at 6.30 p.m. and in Kildavin Mass, Sunday, July 3, at 11.30 a.m. People of the Parish are reminded that graves should be tidy and if we know of a grave that no longer has anyone to look after it we should make sure that it is clean also.

CAR BOOT SALE

The Clonegal car boot sale will be held in the Ben Mulhall Complex, Clonegal on Sunday, July 10. Gates will open to the public at 10 a.m. Sellers can set up from 9.30 a.m. Cost of sellers: Cars €10, Trailers and Vans €15. For more information please contact 087 4119149. Admission is free to the public. Toilet facilities and refreshments will be available in the complex.
