CLONROCHE ICA

The monthly meeting for June, the last meeting before the summer break, was held in Clonroche Community Centre on June 15. Secretary Mary Kelly gave a detailed account of the proceeding of the last federation meeting.

Arrangemen­ts were made for the annual outing which will be held on Wednesday, July 20, consisting of an open air bus tour of Dublin city, which is very popular and enjoyable, stopping off for some shopping and a meal on the return journey, for detail contact 086 3663995 or any ICA Member.

DEVELOPMEN­T ASSOCIATIO­N

A ceremony to commemorat­e all who died in Easter Rising in 1916, plus the unveiling of 1916 Commemorat­ive Stone will take place in Millennium Park on Wednesday, July 13, at 7.30 p.m. Note this is a provisiona­l date, details will be confirmed in due course.

CLOUGHBAWN PATRON

The annual Patron will be held on July 10 at 2 p.m. with prayers in the cementry followed by entertainm­ent and refreshmen­ts in the ajoining field.

CLOUGHBAWN AFC

The club will hold their dinner dance on July 9 in Danby Lodge. Tickets will be on sale next week, from committee members, after the sucessful year, we would like for everyone to make an effort to attend and celebrate with the winning teams.

RATHNURE MUSICAL

The Box Office is open for this year’s Rathnure Summer Musical ‘Heavens Above.’ which continues this week on July 6, 7, 9 and 10 at 7.45 p.m. nightly. Call the Box Office now at 053 9255429 or 087 0687801. Plenty of laughs, tears, drama and great music.
