THE NWSPCA is regularly asked to find homes for cats and dogs belonging to people whose change in circumstances result in their not being able to keep them. Here are some of those beauties.

Luna is five-years-old. She is a family pet who has always lived in an adult home. She is good with kittens and loves a good swim.

Lilly’s owner passed away not long ago. She is 10 years old and likes to be the only dog in the family. She would be best where children are over 12. She loves lots of fuss and attention and seems happiest when she’s sat on someone’s knee or beside you. She’s also a great little house/guard dog.

Bailey is five-years-old. He’s a Lab-springer cross and loves a good play and walk. He is looking for a home due to a change in his family circumstances. He is good with children and other dogs.

Buddy is a three-year-old Labrador who is a little wary of strangers at first but gets along well with other dogs. He is looking for a home due to a change in circumstances.

Toby is 12 and looking for a home to retire in. He is housetrained unless left alone for a long period. He is OK with other dogs but takes him a few days to get used to someone new. He loves walks and is good on the lead. He has some stiffness in his back legs at times and half an hour walk would be enough for him. He loves being in woodland areas. Toby is not too sure about cats as he has never been around any. He doesn’t like noise, so is best suited to a home without children.

The society is appealing for volunteers to help with walking the dogs. Phone 087 6392531, see Facebook or email nwspca@hotmail.com.
