46 pre-schools handed capital funding boost
FORTY-SIX pre-school providers in County Wexford have been allocated more than €280,000 in capital funding by the government.
The funding represents a portion of more than €6.5m in capital funding allocated by the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Katherine Zappone to 1,006 pre-school providers nationwide.
The total allocation represents an increase of more than €2.5m on the amount previously announced for this programme earlier this year. Minister Paul Kehoe said the funding announcement will benefit children and parents in County Wexford and will be key in ensuring that there is sufficient capacity in the sector.
