‘SEISIUN’ IN BREE

The Comhaltas ‘Seisiún’ Sessions, in associatio­n with Celtic Roots, continue weekly on Tuesday nights at 8.30 p.m. for the months of July and August in Bree Community Centre. Each Session begins with the serving of scones and tea or coffee at 8.30 p.m. followed by a full programme of Music, Song, Dance and Storytelli­ng. Cost is €10 for adults, €5 for children with concession­s for groups. For bookings and further details contact 087 7535354.

PATRON DATES

Bree Patron is on Sunday, August 14, commencing in Clonmore Cemetery at 1.30 p.m., following onto the New Cemetery at 2 p.m. and then the Old Cemetery and concluding with Benedictio­n of the Blessed Sacrament in the church.

PARKS TENNIS CAMPS

Parks Tennis Camps are back in Bree again for ages five to 17 years. Racquets and balls are supplied if necessary. Camp will run from Monday to Friday for July. Children can pick and choose weeks if necessary and a different rate will be applied. Camps last for one hour per age group. For more informatio­n and questions call or text Shonagh at 087 2508698.

CLONMORE CHURCH FETE

The parishione­rs of Clonmore Church wish to thank all those who supported their recent Church Fete. Prizewinne­r sin the raffle were first Benny Kehoe, second Fr Michael Byrne, third Lily Warren, fourth Georgina Power, fifth Eilish Darcy, sixth Colin Levingston­e and seventh Eilish Darcy.

NIGHT AT THE DOGS

Bri Beag host a family race night at Enniscorth­y Greyhound Track on Monday, August 1. The gates open at 7 p.m. with the first race off at 8 p.m. There will be free kids face painting and balloon making from 7.15 p.m. to 9.15 p.m., adults €10 with under-14s free. Tickets available at Bri Beag Reception, call 053 9247111. Gate Prizes and Raffle on the night.
