Heritage Park signs new electricity deal with Energia
THE Irish National Heritage Park has signed a major new electricity deal with competitive energy supplier Energia. The new energy deal will see Energia provide electricity to the centre.
The Park already uses the latest technology alongside Stone Age technology – a 25 kwp solar power system works alongside microliths and megaliths. Maura Bell, Manager, Irish National Heritage Park, said: ‘Like every Irish business, we look for a mixture of the best value and service when deciding on our energy supplier. We are delighted with this deal with Energia. Energia have also been able to provide us with very valuable advice on energy efficiency.’
Michelle Kells, Energia said: ‘We are delighted to win the business of the Irish National Heritage Park. It’s a significant endorsement of the great value that Energia can offer Irish businesses switching energy provider.
‘We also support businesses through innovative energy programmes like Energia’s ‘Cash for Kilowatts’ scheme that provides grant funding to companies for energy efficiency projects. It means that any company carrying out an energy efficiency project can qualify for grant funding based on the amount of energy they save.’
This scheme, which can fund up to 30% of the project, is open to all businesses, whether or not they are customers of Energia.
