CLOUGHBAWN CAMOGIE
Well done to our under-10 team who beat Rathgarogue-Cushinstown in their latest match. The under-12 camogie White Team travelled to Glynn-Barntown on Wednesday hoping to capitalise on their recent good form. Having lost by the narrowest of margins to Castletown they were eager to get back to winning ways. This they did with a tight fought match, the end result being 1-2 to 0-2 in Cloughbawn’s favour. Both teams are out this week in their final league matches before the finals day on September 24 in the centre of Excellence in Ferns.
Congratulation to our under-14 camogie team who won the Roinn one County Final vs Rathgarogue-Cushinstown on a score of 8-3 to 3-4. They were a goal down at half time but a brilliant second half display secured the victory. There was great excitement back at the complex afterwards where some hot food and refreshments awaited the players and supporters.
Well done to our under-16 team who won their latest match vs St James on a score of 4-8 to 4-4. Clonroche Development Association.
