LADIES CLUB

The Ladies Club will meet again on Wednesday, September 14, in Ballyduff NS from 8 p.m. Be sure to come along to find out this month’s speaker and enjoy a cuppa and a chat with ladies from our area. The group meet on the second Wednesday of every month. New members are always welcome.

BBQ/STAR IN THEIR EYES

The annual Ballyduff Developmen­t Group barbecue and this year’s ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ event promises to be very entertaini­ng and will be help in the Courtyard, Ferns on Saturday, September 17. Tickets will be on sale soon.

CLONEE GAA

Clonee GAA Club are hosting Strictly Club Dancing this year. Our dancers are busy learning lots of new dance steps at the moment ahead of our first dance night on October 8 with the Grand Final on October 30. Watch out for our fundraiser­s over the coming weeks and keep an eye on our Facebook page for more informatio­n about how our dancers are getting on.

LITTER PICK

Ballyduff Developmen­t Group plan to run a community litter pick to help keep our roads looking tidy on Saturday, September 10. All help would be appreciate­d on the day or the days before or after if that day doesn’t suit. It’s possible to message our Facebook page and send photos if you can so we can make people aware of any dumping and the efforts our community makes to keep our area looking beautiful and litter-free.

The group meets in the school car park on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. to work on our local area. If you can help in any way or have any ideas on how to add interest to our area please come along any evening that the group is gathering. We’re always delighted to see new faces. Thanks to everyone who supports Ballyduff Looking Beautiful.
