Mazda Ireland appoints new MD

MAZDA Ireland has appointed John Perry as Managing Director to take up the lead in driving further growth and success for the company. John will take over from Tony Howarth who raised the brand’s success in Ireland to new places over the last three years. Tony will return to the UK to expand his career in a new challenge within the industry.

John who resides from Dublin has a vast amount of experience in the automotive industry having worked in a variety of roles within a number of different brands. John began his career in the Motor Industry in 1990, holding various positions within

Aftersales business before joining Mazda in September 2007 as an Aftersales Business Manager. He was promoted to Aftersales Director in 2010 and following restructur­ing of the company promoted to the position of National Sales and Aftersales Manager in July 2013. John also holds a degree in Motor Management and offers a wealth of knowledge to drive the company’s continued success further.
