Smiles as Dermot opens Halo Tiles
THE country’s most famous architect, Dermot Bannon, proved to be a crowd-pleaser recently as he paid a visit to Camolin to officially open the new flagship showroom for Halo Tiles and Bathroom at Tom Doyle Supplies.
The presenter of RTÉ’s Room to Improve also gave around 500 customers a presentation on architecture and design, and spent several hours discussing plans and design with those present.
The customers also got to pick up a few bargains, with heavy discounts on selected tiles and bathrooms. They also took the opportunity to look around the premises which has been completely renovated. The showroom, designed by Roisin Lafferty of Kingston Lafferty Design, features brand new designs, displays, and stock.
Visitors also enjoyed champagne, a barbecue supplied by Candy’s of Carnew, and children were entertained with face painting, balloon modelling, and games.
Halo Tiles are the agents for Vitra Tiles and Gala bathrooms in Ireland. Tiles are imported from quality manufacturers in the UK, Italy, Spain and Turkey.
Proprietors Tom Doyle and Patrick Doyle were delighted with the turnout for the opening, and paid tribute to their team for their hard work, and all of their loyal customers who have supported them over their 40 years in business.
The 40th anniversary celebrations and sale continue for the rest of the month, and the team are looking forward to welcoming more customers through the doors to show them around.
