Maher double helps Killenagh sink Duncannon

Killenagh Wanderers continued their winning ways on Sunday as they earned a 3-2 win in Duncannon.

Dominic Maher netted a double for the table-toppers, with John Keane also hitting the back of the net.

Connal Flood was again on the scoresheet for Cloughbawn as they drew 1-1 with New Ross Town, with Keith Donnelly bagging the goal for the visitors.

There’s been no shortage of goals in Rosslare Strand’s games this season and it was no different on Sunday as they overcame Forth Celtic 5-3 with goals from Gavin Kinsella, Tiarnan Rossiter, Gary Collins, Danny O’Reilly and Mark Buckley.

Jamie McMahon and Stephen Redmond got the goals for Rosslare Port as they beat North End United 2-1, with Jason Leniston replying for the town side.

Daniel Mullan grabbed the goal for Fethard Rangers as they lost 3-1 away to Enniscorth­y Town.

Division3

Leaders Bree United chalked up another impressive win on Sunday as they overcame Ballymurn 3-0.

Noel Roche bagged a double for the table-toppers, while Thomas Cash grabbed their other goal.

Robbie Corcoran and Nicky Sinnott hit the back of the net for Cushinstow­n as they beat Oylegate 2-0 in a repeat of last season’s Billy Browne Cup final.

Bunclody chalked up a 4-0 win in Caim, with Dwayne Smith (two), Jay Somers and Rory O’Brien getting the goals.

Dylan Whitty helped himself to a hat-trick for Raheen as they won 4-2 in Ferns, with Pádraig Whitty getting their other goal.

Elsewhere Dylan Murphy and Craig O’Brien got the goals for New Ross Celtic as they edged out Ballagh 2-1.

Division3A

Shelburne and Camolin both went into Sunday’s game boasting one hundred per cent records so something had to give.

It was the former who came away with the three points, with Rob Kehoe and James Connick getting their goals in a 2-0 win.

Wexford Albion joined them on nine points at the top of the table as they overcame Curracloe 6-1, thanks to a Pierce Dooley hat-trick and goals from Elliott Malone, Shane O’Connor and Gary Cousins.

Campile United went on a scoring spree, overwhelmi­ng Castledock­rell 12-2, with Declan Murphy grabbing five, Darragh Kent and Richie Waters both getting doubles and Eoin Mythen, Cian Gleeson and Tadgh Cahill adding a goal apiece.

David Brazil scored four goals for Rosbercon United as they beat Kilmore United 6-3, with Philip O’Connor and Jamie St. Ledger getting the other goals andd Jeff Kearney (two) and Nathan Bates replying for Kilmore.

Elsewhere, Courtown Hibs beat Wexford Celtic 3-1.

Division4

Gorey Celtic fought back from conceding the first goal to overcome Moyne Rangers and continue their perfect start to the campaign.

John Kavanagh, Seán Feeney and Colm Stafford got the goals for the north county side.

Adrian Murphy and Conor Neville both netted doubles for Corach Ramblers as they won 4-2 away to Enniscorth­y United.

James Carley got the goal for Crossabeg in their 2-1 loss to Wexford Bohemians, while Rosslare Rangers picked up three points as they won 3-1 away to All Blacks.

Division4A

Stephen Kennedy netted a double for Cloughbawn as they made it nine points from nine by edging out Taghmon United. Paul Lambert grabbed their other goal in a 3-2 victory. Ryan Dwyer (two), John Lacey and Darren Morrissey got the goals for Ajax Athletic as they overcame Boolavogue 4-3, while Dean Doyle hit the net for Bree United in their 1-1 draw with Tombrack.

Gary Doran grabbed a double for St. Joseph’s, with Michael McNulty and Mikey Keane getting their other goals in a 4-1 win over Rosslare Port, while Shamrock Rovers edged out Enniscorth­y Town 2-1 in a local derby.

Division5

Castledock­rell continued their bright start to the campaign with a 4-1 win in Duncannon, with Peter Nolan, Paddy Kavanagh (two) and Ned Hendrick getting their goals.

Mark Browne got the only goal of the game as high-flying Wexford Albion edged out Killenagh, while Rob O’Toole got on the scoresheet for Ballymurn in their 1-1 draw with St. Cormac’s.

Elsewhere, Stoney Rovers won 4-0 in Caim and Camolin overcame Cushinstow­n 4-1.
