COURTNACUD­DY CHURCH CLEANING: Sept Contact Stella Creane.

HOLY HOUR: A Holy Hour with Exposition of Blessed Sacrament will take place in Courtnacud­dy Church on Sunday, October 9, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Holy Hour will take place every second Sunday of each month.

VINTAGE DAY

The annual Courtnacud­dy Vintage Day will take place on Sunday, September 25. It begins at 1.30 p.m. at Beaufield on the Enniscorth­y/New Ross Road. It promises to be a great day for all the family. There will be old time Trashing, a 1916 tractor to compare with a 2016 tractor. Crafts, Wheel Spinning, fishing, archery, dog show, bottle stall, Children’s Sport, Teas and Burgurs. By the way there will be some unusual characters will be there on the day. Draw for prizes at 4 p.m.

GAA LOTTO

Results of the lottery on September 12 were as follows: jackpot €4.800. Numbers drawn were 1, 3, 11 and 23 – no jackpot winner. We had two match-three winners, Rose Leacy, Rathfylane and Robert and Dolores Hassey who win €50 each. Sellers prize was won by Maureen Doyle. Next jackpot is €4.950 and the next draw is on September 26.

Environmen­tal Workers in Monart and Scoby, Caim and Davidstown: These positions are a developmen­tal opportunit­y, no experience is necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. Duties will include environmen­tal work, grass cutting, litter control, spraying, weeding, strimming and general maintenanc­e work. Caretaking and general upkeep of Churches and parishes.
