Mass times as follows: Tuesday 7.30 p.m. Thursday 9.30 a.m. Saturday 9.30 a.m. and 8.15 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. Vigil Mass at 8.15 p.m. Mass at 10 a.m.

Ballymurn heritage group still have some 1916 and Kilmallock cemetery books for sale. Contact any committee member or are available in the local shop.

PARISH DANCE

The Church of the Assumption are hosting a parish gathering for family and friends near and far on Saturday, October 8, in Hotel Curracloe. Music will be provided by Thomas Maguire and Phiona Ennis. Admission is €10 which includes refreshmen­ts and door and spot prizes. Ticket sellers will be calling around to your doors selling tickets in the next few weeks.

FUNDRAISER

Bygone Days Storytelli­ng House, Oulart and friends, present a night of music, song, stories and Craic in Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorth­y, on September 25 at 8 p.m. A great night of entertainm­ent is assured, please come along, bring family and friends and support our storytelli­ng house. Tickets are €10 at the door.

VINTAGE NEWS

The Over the water Vintage Club are holding a Tractor and Car Road Run on Sunday, October 9, in aid of Alzheimers Ireland (Wexford Branch), starting from Screen Village at 12.30 p.m. All support would be greatly appreciate­d.

PIONEER NEWS

A meeting of the diocesan pioneer council was held in Bree on Tuesday, September 13, with spiritual director Rev. Robert McGuire in attendance. Centres represente­d were Bree, Courtnacud­dy, St Seanan’s, Cushinstow­n, Adamstown and Ballymurn, with apologies from Camolin and Davidstown.

Upcoming dates for your diary – Afternoon retreat in Ballyvaloo Sunday, October 16. Dinner Dance in the Riverside on Wednesday, November 23, to be preceeded by mass in St Senan’s for deceased members. The next meeting is scheduled for tuesday November 1 at 8 p.m. in Bree.
