Well done to Johnny Logan and the Loganettes aka Enda Furlong, Suzanne Byrne and Fiona Brennan on their victory, to runners up Meatloaf and Cher aka Kevin Walker and Letitia Breen and to all the other participants who helped make it a very entertaining evening.

Special thanks to Liam, Cliona and Siobhán Hayden for all their hard work preparing and cooking for the barbecue, to everyone who sold tickets, The Courtyard Ferns, DJ John Carroll and Brian McDonald our very talented MC.

CLONEE GAA

Clonee GAA Club are hosting Strictly Club Dancing this year. Our dancers are busy learning lots of new dance steps at the moment ahead of our first dance night on October 8 with the Grand Final on October 30. Watch out for our fundraisers over the coming weeks and keep an eye on our Facebook page for more information about how our dancers are getting on.

DEVELOPMENT GROUP

Thanks to everyone who helped with our recent community litter pick. We didn’t collect a huge amount of litter but that might indicate that all the hard work is paying off and incentives such at the North Wexford 2K Clean and An Taisce Spring Clean are raising awareness in the importance of keeping your local area litter-free. Special thanks to everyone who keeps 20 meters each side of their property litter-free.

The group meets in the school car park on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. to work on our local area. If you can help in any way or have any ideas on how to add interest to our area please come along any evening that the group is gathering. We’re always delighted to see new faces. Thanks to everyone who supports Ballyduff Looking Beautiful.

BALLYDUFF LADIES CLUB
