ICA NEWS

The guild meeting of Bree ICA will be held in Bree Community Centre on Tuesday, September 20, at 8 p.m. and anyone wishing to join the guild would be very welcome.

BREE MACRA AGM

The AGM of Bree Macra na Feirme will take place in Bree Community Centre on Friday, September 23, at 9 p.m.

ATHLETIC CLUB NEWS

Indoor Athletic Training will resume on Thursday, October 6, from 7 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. for little athletes (5 to nine years) and from 7.45 p.m. to 9 p.m. for Bree AC registered athletes. Outdoor training for Bree AC registered athletes will resume in Ballyhogue GAA Club grounds on Monday, October 3, at 7 p.m. and continue each Monday and Wednesday evening for the winter season.

Upcoming events are the Co Cross Country Championsh­ips starting at midday each day. Day one is in JFK Park on October 2 from under-10 to Novice. Day two is in Adamstown on October 16 from under-nine to intermedia­te and Day three takes place in St Paul’s for seniors on the December 18.

USED CLOTHING

Bree United are holding a clothing collection on September 24. If you have any unwanted clothing please drop them to the pitch any evening you are passing by.

PTAA NEWS

The PTAA host an Afternoon of Prayer on Sunday, October 16, at Ballyvaloo Retreat Centre. Registrati­on at 1.30 p.m. The fee of €20 includes tea on arrival and evening tea. Enquiries to Eddie Dunne 053 9247882.

The PTAA annual Dinner Dance is on in the Riverside Park Hotel on Wednesday, November 23, commencing at 8.30 p.m. Music by Billy Kirwan with tickets costing €30. For more informatio­n please contact Eddie Dunne at 053 9247882.

BREE CEP VACANCIES

Bree CEP is currently taking applicatio­ns for two vacancies – Childcare Assistant (Bri Beag) Ref CES-2010365 and Caretaker/Groundskee­per (Ballyhogue GAA) Ref CES-2010372. Applicatio­ns should be made directly to your local Department of Social Protection Office quoting the reference number – qualifying criteria and Garda Vetting applies. Childcare applicants should ideally have a FETAC Level five or higher Childcare qualificat­ion.

COMMUNITY CENTRE

All organisati­ons and individual­s using or wishing to use Bree Community Centre are asked to contact Eddie Dunne to confirm bookings for use for the coming months. This is to avoid any confusion or double booking as the centre will be very busy as Clubs and groups recommence after the summer break.

GUITAR CLASSES

IRISH DANCING

The Wexford Academy of Irish Dancing has returned to classes after the summer break. Class times are as normal. ACTIVE RETIREMENT
